One of the most beautiful evergreens due to its lacy graceful growth. Can be pruned to maintain desired height. Yellow-green needles in spring changing to a glossy green. The Canadian Hemlock is also one of only few evergreens that can handle full sun and full shade, though it prefers a site where it can receive both shade and sun.
